Janelle French                               

Janelle has been teaching at the Upper Hunter Conservatorium since 1998.  Before this she was a peripatetic teacher in schools in the upper hunter area.  In 1983 Janelle was awarded the Bachelor of Music Education from the New South Wales conservatorium.

For the Upper Hunter Conservatorium Janelle conducts as part of the school band program, leading bands at Scone Public School, Scone High School, Scone Grammar School and Aberdeen Public School.  Janelle has been leading these programs since 1992, bringing these programs under the umbrella of the conservatorium in 2004. 

Janelle is an active member of the musical life of the upper hunter, with leading roles in the Muswellbrook Shire Concert Band, Muswellbrook Amateur Theatrical Society, and the Kia-Ora Music Camp.
